Science expenditure
Science expenditure comprises total expenditure on research and experimental development (R&D), scientific education and training, and other related scientific and technological activities. The latter include, for example, scientific and technical information services, general-purpose data collection, feasibility studies of technical projects (whereas feasibility studies of research projects are part of R&D), and the preparation of basic foundations for decision-making support in policy and business.
